A Little About Me: Annie Howard

Coach

I attended Cardinal Mooney High School and graduated in
2012. I was a four-year indoor volleyball Varsity starter at
CMHS. Growing up in beautiful Sarasota, FL, I developed a love for beach volleyball, I started my beach volleyball career my sophomore
year of high school. I trained under Kristen Batt and Joe
Rohr during high school. I committed to the Florida State
Beach Volleyball program my senior year. My first three
years at Florida State I was coached by Danalee and Brian Corso and we attended the AVCA National Championships every year.
My senior year I was coached by Brooke Niles and Hector
Gutierrez. My senior year we attended the first NCAA
beach volleyball championships and we placed second.  I was blessed to be apart of four national Championship appearances and was runner-up in 2014 and 2016.While I attended FSU I was coached by great coaches, played both
left and right side, was a full time blocker and defender. I
have had the opportunity to play every position and work on
each different volleyball skill.

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have 2 little boys. I have always had a passion for coaching and upon graduation I started coaching beach and indoor. I have been coaching indoor and beach volleyball for 12 plus years at the high school and club levels.I love to coach indoor or beach and help young athletes continue to grow their game.
